This book made me re visit our experience of our 15 year old son who was bullied at school and tried to commit suicide because of the constant abuse and degregation. Schools have to take control of these people who seem to take control of so many lives.

Everytime I pick up a new book by Jodi, I think it can't beat the one I just finished, but I just loved this book. Alex drove me crazy and I wanted her with Will the whole time. I loved the connection with Connor and how he came to Cassi in her sleep- so great.

I just finished, and while it was good, it wasn't my favorite. What happened with maggie and christian? I assume they're together but they never really said.

Like with all books I read, I try to predict the ending. As usual, I predicted wrong with this book, which is what keeps me reading Jodi Picoult's books. I knew that Chris would be found guilty no matter what, though. I thought that with the evidence of Emily's fingerprints only being on the barrel of the gun, a scenario like this played in my head: Chris decided last minute that he would kill himself first and him and Emily would argue about it, but he ended up putting the gun...

Patrick or Caleb?

The whole time I was reading the book, I don't know why but I was rooting for Patrick. It is not that I dislike Caleb but I just feel that Nina and Patrick were made to be together. I don't agree with the whole "affair" thing during Christmas time but I feel that Caleb left Nina confused and alone. And throughout the whole book, Patrick seemed to be the one who was there for Nina while Caleb seemed unsure. Am I the only one thinking this? :O

I loved the book, I've read it at least a dozen times, but I was very disappointed with the movie. I think it would have been better made into a mini-series. Too many important story lines were left out. But that is just my opinion.

I just finished reading Perfect Match and I loved it! However, I and am really confused about the antifreeze...
How did Caleb use it to kill Father Gwen?? Can anyone please help? What did I miss??

Gah. She was just not a likeable character IMO. Going to the party wearing the sheer shirt, playing Rainbow and strip poker was one thing. Then how she kept lying about her story and making up things. Added to that was how she didn't even technically say no?

Did you guys like her? Did you feel sorry for her? Or is it just me?

I did not like this movie. They left out so much stuff. Like how trixie tries to kill her self, her shaving her head, her running away to alaska and falling in love, Also daniel's and laura's realshoship I can keep going on how much stuff they left out. Like half the book was left out!

I just finished watching it and wanted to see what everyone thought of it. Personally, i thought i was great. Even though trixie didn't go to Alaska, i loved the ending. I think they covered most of the book unlike the movie the Pact did. That do you guys think?

i don't think anyone who worked on this movie read the book. there are so many inconsistencies, i can't even get into it! the book is always better than the movie!!!!

There's a part in the movie that just makes my blood run cold every time I hear it. Thankfully it wasn't in the book, Jodi would never write something so heinous! Anyway, it's in the treehouse, and Emily's "reflective" narrating voice is speaking, and she says something along this lines of If I could freeze a moment from my childhood, I would. UG! I mean, it's just a blatantly obvious thought. Who wouldn't freeze a favorite childhood memory?...

So I was super confused while reading the last few chapters of this took, the ones that took place in Alaska. The narration and some of the characters kept referring to Bethel....as if that was closeby, or where they were, or something. But I thought Bethel was in Maine, where the Stones lived? Trixie went to Bethel High School...etc. Did I miss something...is there coincidentally a Bethel, Maine and a Bethel Alaska?

As I was reading The Tenth Circle, I knew Laura was the culprit when the DNA came back as female! It was too easy for it to be Trixie. My thoughts were confirmed when the baby in Charles' house laughed at her red hair. I was amazed by this book! I loved the comic book aspect and how Laura kept referring to Dante's Inferno. I also picked up on Laura being the murderer when she said the only thing she hadn't done yet is kill someone....when she was thinking about all the sins...

This is for those of you who read The Pact before you read Salem Falls.

When I read The Pact, I thought Selena was a white, Caucasian woman. But when I read Salem Falls, Selena was referred to a few times as an Africian American woman. She even called herself chocolate at one point.

That the book hit a dry spell in the middle? I don't know about anyone else, but discussing the gnostic gospels just wasn't cutting it for me..it took me out of the action and suspense.
