I loved My Sister's Keeper as I too am a sister and know that if my sister asked me to do what Kate asked Anna to do....I would have faught tooth and nail to make sure her wishes where adhered to.

I loved Perfect Match.....I learnt so much from that book.

Gah! I left it too late. My fears all got in the way. And I wasn't able to ring to book tickets on time
Finally today I managed to get the courage to ring - and it was sold out
Sometimes I hate that my fears rule my life so much.

Hopefully there will be a next time!

Hi , this is charmarine from Hong Kong,which is a small city in Asia. I read " Second Glance "and "Sister's keeper" before and now I am engrossed in Salem Falls. Actually your book are quite famous here , which some of them are translated into Chinese. I love these books, specificly the Jordan McAfee books. I know The pact was made for life time, but if I ever attain my goal of becoming a filmmaker I would love to sign an exclusive jodi picolt contract and remake the pact and sisters keeper as well as make nineteen minutes, salem falls, and perfect match into movies. I'm deeply saddened by the prospect of My sisters keeper being made into a bad movie becuase cameran diaz can bring in more money.

So I bought the January issue of Good Housekeeping hoping for the promised article by Jodi. Am I blind? I've read that magazine cover to cover and did not see it. Does anyone know.....has it been postponed? Did find a couple possibly good recipes in the issue, but I wanted the Jodi article. Thought it would help ease the waiting for the next book.

Jodi posted the first part of her 2008 tour schedule which I am assuming is about "Change of Heart" since it picks up at the beginning of March...I know there's more to be posted but I am wondering if she's coming to PA (somewhere around the Pittsburgh area) again this year. She stopped here last year within a week of the new novel and she won't be here that quick this time but I was wondering if she'll revisit the east coast later in the tour or if I should make plans to travel to...

Okay, so who is totally pumped that we finally have a date?!?!?! I am about to burst!! Such a geek, I put the release date in my day planner so that I don't forget and miss the release!!! I gotta have it!! I have read everything and can't wait for this one!! I will have to pace myself better this time though because I read through 19 minutes in under 3 days!!! I hope she kicks out the 2009 novel early.....maybe a book every 6 months?? I think I could handle that!!! Jodi????

Anyone care to share any personal stories about meeting Jodi in person? Last year I gave Jodi a present that made her crack up laughing. I must admit it was the perfect gift for her. It was a T - shirt that had printed on it: "Careful, or you'll end up in my next novel." When she read what was on the shirt she just roared with laughter and her laughter caused me to crack up laughing too. What a wonderful shared moment we had together.

Differences in topics on forum

Call me being picky, but since I read My Sister's Keeper this has bugged me: Wouldn't you use a character's full name in court? It's just that most of Jodi's main characters seem to have 'full' names not used in official circumstances, e.g. Trixie in the Tenth Circle is 'Beatrice' - after Dante's one true love - but she's always referred to as Trixie, not Beatrice, in court or in the police station. Similarly, in Nineteen Minutes, Alex asks for Josie Cormier, but when she looked on the list...
