Recently I came across a book that had a quip from Jodi Picoult on the cover... I was just wondering what the title was. I'd like to read anything she enjoys!!

I just finished, and while it was good, it wasn't my favorite. What happened with maggie and christian? I assume they're together but they never really said.

That the book hit a dry spell in the middle? I don't know about anyone else, but discussing the gnostic gospels just wasn't cutting it for me..it took me out of the action and suspense.

The ending- new book???

This was the BEST ending to one of her books! The last few words open up a huge possibility for a new character and new book. Just like Keeping Faith led to Change of Heart, there could definitely be a new story to start- the girl who got the heart! (Can't remember her name- I give ALL my JP books to friends because I love her so much!)

I just finished reading Change of Heart and I absolutely loved it. I have to say after reading several of Ms. Picoult's books, I knew Shay did not commit the crimes in the beginning. With that said, I still cried during the last few chapters of the book.

Very disapointed..

I really have to say that I am very disappointed with how much this book its starting to be so GREEN MILE'ish.

I need so serious inspiration to even finish the book!

I love Jodi's "it could really happen...STYLE..."...

I love Jodi...However I really have to say....I'm very disappointed this time around. Change of heart is a little to much like The Green Mile. I'm only half way into the book and literally forcing myself to finish praying it has a twist!

I love Jodi for all her real life...it could really happen books!

Please Jodi don't tell me your changing your tone!!!

My Sisters Keeper's ending being changed for the movie

Well i was at a reading last night in Dublin and Jodi announces that the ending for My Sisters Keeper will be changed for a test market. There was a loud gasp from everyone there.
For me the ending is the most important part of the book. Such a twist that has you crying and in shock. Hopefully the people making this film will realize that without the ending its just another film that doesnt do justice too the book. And too leave it alone.

Could someone please let me know what the story is with Change of Heart and Harvesting the Heart. I just read Harvesting and everywhere I look I don't see any mention of these being the exact same book that came out 13 years exactly to the day difference.

I just finished this book and at first i thought it was just a little too unrealistic. I was completeley turned off by the fact that Shay was performing miracles and thought it was very unlike Jodi Picuolt to write such an unrealistic story. However, as I kept reading i began to become attatched to the characters and intrigued by Shay. I like how it the ending left you with questions because isn't that what religon is all about? relgion is always a mystery and you will always have...

To start off, this was one of my least favorite Jodi books, but still one of the best thing's I've read.

I loved Lucius after reading the exerpt. Did anyone else really wish the book elaborated more on his story? (I know it wasn't really relevant to the plot and he just served to tell about Shay's "miracles"). I would have loved some more insight into him...

I am a bit confused about the box Shay gave Father Michael. firstly why would Shay 'pretend' to perform miracles? How could he fake the other miracles like bringing the bird back to life? If he wasn't faking those miracles why would he fake some miracles when he could actually perform the others? Why would he use Michael? Did he know that he had to pretend to follow a religon to be able to donate his heart? What was up with the gum, how did he manage to fake that? Why recite...

Having just finished nineteen minutes earlier this week, I've been so excited that Change of Heart is released in the UK today and the postman knocked on my door this morning with my pre-order! I was going to order it from USA as it was released a month earlier there but decided to finish nineteen minutes first!
I'm dying to take a peek at the message boards but will refrain and I will be reading it tonight! I'm just so excited!!!!!!

I found the book absolutely fascinating and thought-provoking BUT Ms Picoult's knowledge of Ctholic ritual is about 40 yearls old.
Catholics eat meat on Fridays except during Lent.
Catholic priests do NOT keep thumb and finger together after the consecration of the Eucharist.
No Catholic priest, especially one of Fr. Michael's age, would use the old English thees and thous of the KIng James bible, especially when praying with a parishioner.
