Probably this has already been posted at some point- but I just have to say how disappointed I am with Change of Heart. I am only 1/3 into the book and I just can't even take it anymore. It is so similar to the film, the Green Mile, that I can hardly even believe. Did anyone else have this problem? It makes me so saddened. I have read almost every one of Jodi's book and thoroughly enjoyed most. There are many aspiring authors in the world who would LOVE a chance to have their work published. Jodi is in the unique position that almost anything she writes will be accepted for publication. Isn't there something more unique to use as a subject matter than a basic recreation of Stephen King's work? I saw on other sites that some people argued the similarities weren't completely tic for tac. I have to say that since chapter one I have found the stories so similar that I can't even bare to read on. After speaking with other people who read the book many had the same conclusion. Isn't there something original out there to write about? How did the author get away with this? I feel robbed!
