I thought it was odd that Shay's last words were "I forgive you" to June. This actually kind of ticked me off...what would she need to be forgiven for, or did I miss a huge part of the story? If it's to do with Shay's false conviction, it wasn't June's fault. Or maybe he was trying to assuage her of any guilt she may feel later for taking the heart of an innocent man? I was confused, and like I said, a bit miffed by his last words. Any thoughts on Shay's last words? I'd love to hear other opinions!
